No. There is no setup fee and no monthly subscription
. You pay only for the messages you send, and for any keywords or numbers you have set up.
What is a keyword?
A keyword
is the first word of a text message that people send to our short code 1919, for example TXTY WIN. We see that the word is yours and pass the message straight on. You can also get sub-keywords, so you can tell several campaigns apart on the same keyword.
Can we use our own number as the sender?
Yes. You can either send with a custom sender name, or you can host a SIM card
with us so that both outbound and inbound messages run on your own number.
How quickly is an SMS delivered?
Usually within seconds. We send through the Danish operators and get a delivery report back once the message has reached the handset.
What is an HLR lookup?
A query against the operators' own register that tells you whether a mobile number exists at all, which country it belongs to and which network it sits on. It costs DKK 0.08 per lookup and is a cheap way to clean a customer database before you send.
Can we send SMS abroad?
Yes, you can send to most of the world. The DKK 0.30 price applies to Denmark, and Norway and Sweden are DKK 0.40 per SMS. Tell us which other countries you send to and we will quote you.
Do we have to commit?
No. There is no minimum term and no notice period. Stop sending and you stop paying.
Can we integrate Txty with our own system?
Yes. Our REST API takes both GET and POST and answers with JSON. The control panel is built on that same API, so anything you can click your way to, you can automate.
